Care for your nipple jewlery and piercings :

General rule of thumb - you must keep the area clean and allow the body to heal around the nipple jewlery. Wash the area twice daily (and after exercise) with antibacterial soap or salt water rinses - rinse off all crusty formations and soap with clean water. Avoid using alcohol based products, peroxide or betadine - it stains nipple jewlery.
